Coaching

What will your future hold?

If you believed that the future would be in your power, what would you plan for yourself?

By our choices; by our actions or inaction in the present; we all carve the path of our own futures. Is it worth an hour of your time to talk about these possibilities with an expert?

Get in touch with me to explore your own values and priorities in a free confidential conversation without commitment.

I will help you to consider and clarify the options for your future. If we have good chemistry then we can work together to design your personal routemap. Then I will support you on every step along the road.

What is Coaching?

What's in it for me?

What's in it for me?

In a word: fulfillment.

But first we have to find what that means for you.

For example what gives you happiness? What gives you contentment? What do you care about most deeply? We are all different; there are no right and wrong answers. However, this stuff really matters because it's what 'being you' is all about.

Fulfillmet comes when our actions are aligned with our values. This alignment can take work, but the results are magical.

Is coaching like
self-improvement?

Is coaching like
self-improvement?

Absolutely not.

My gameplan is not to improve you, it is to improve your situation. You are already your own person. I don't presume that you need improvement.

However I do know that there is something about your life that you want to change, and the reason you are reading this is that you haven't made that change already.

My job is to establish your objective, and then position you to achieve it.

I have family and friends.
Why do I need you?

Why do I need you?

I'll tell you what I offer, and you decide.

You can tell me anything, yes anything. Not only will I not judge you, I will help you discover why it matters to you.

My skill is leading clients to reach the insights that change their lives. I will never give you my advice.

Together we will discover much better advice than that. Advice that you can really trust, because it comes from deep within the person who cares about you most in the world. You.

What type of clients do you have?

What type of clients do you have?

Those who believe it is possible to improve their own futures.

I have clients of both genders, all colours and several nationalities. My client list includes those in employment, as well as self-employed and unemployed people.

What they all share, is an open mind on the possibility of self-determination, although they might not yet know how to achieve it by themselves.

If all you do is ask questions,
why can't I do this for myself?

Why can't I do this for myself?

Weird isnt it? You'd think you could, but would you find the time to do it? Really? Why have you not managed to do this successfully before?

And if you did, would you ask the right questions? Would you act on the answers you gave?

How would you know when to challenge and when to encourage; when to dig and when to support?

And when you need support, how would you give it?

Are you an
accountability coach,
a productivity coach or a lifestyle coach?

What type of coach are you?

I don't judge the tidiness of your cupboards or whether you polish your shoes. So not a lifestyle coach.

I believe that wellbeing comes from what we give rather than what we get. So let’s make your contribution enjoyable and positive. And I will be your accountability partner too if you want me to be.

But rather consider the ultimate goal.
Achieving fullfillment
on your terms.

What does the Trajectory look like?

Simple answer:
Different for everyone.
But here is an idealised, high level  plan.

Values

Let’s look at what is really important for you.

What are your core values and how are they important for you?

The stories we tell ourselves about ourselves and other people can be revealing about our mindset and outlook. What would happen if you could re-write these stories?

What is in your control and what is outside it? How can we optimise results for the things that are outside your control?

Goals

What are we planning to do here?

Do you have a main goal that will be your reward? By what stage of life are you expecting to achieve it? What will success feel like?  What are your stretch goals after that?

Or will success for you be the achievement of a continuously satisfactory way of arranging your life? What will that feel like?

In either case - how would you feel if you don’t achieve these goals?

Status Quo

What is your situation now?

What is your track record?

What are you best at? How do you you already optimise your strengths.

How does your present situation align with your abilities?

What are your successes, and what are your regrets?

What has changed already  - and what needs to change?

Route planning

Let’s consider opportunities and obstacles.

What opportunities are available to help you achieve your goals?

Is anything holding you back? Internal or external? Can we work on them directly, or do we need to look at a change of environment? Or mindset?

What are the risks of progress? How shall we handle them?

What are the risks of doing nothing?

On the road

Let’s enjoy the ride!

‘When you don’t know where you are going, every distraction seems like an opportunity’

I love that phrase - but we do know where we are going now, and there’s no reason why we can’t enjoy the ride.

Let’s break it down:

What will the milestones be that we can celebrate?

What KPIs shall we establish to evaluate our progress?

Achievement

Time to celebrate and reflect.

We don’t have to wait until we have achieved the final goal. I will be cheering you on at every milestone.

Let’s reflect every now and again on our progress and the future.

What about the risks, effort, sacrifices, and joys you have expertienced on the road?

How will we optimise your strategy for the next goal?
